...to the North County Newcomers! We are a non-profit organization serving new residents of North San Luis Obispo County, on the beautiful central coast of California. Members meet for lunch on the first Wednesday of each month at locations throughout the county. We also offer a variety of activities such as potluck suppers, golf, crafts and gardening, bridge and wine tasting. Whether your new address is in Atascadero, Paso Robles, Templeton or anywhere else in the North County, a whole bunch of new friends are waiting for you at the North County Newcomers Club. We hope you will join us!

The deadline for reservations is Tuesday noon, September 28, but the earlier the better - it really helps! Remember that if you make a reservation and do not cancel or attend, you will be billed for the cost of the lunch. And anyone desiring the vegetarian entree must specify it in advance; otherwise, you will be billed for the extra charge to the Club.

Directions: From Hwy 101 take Route 41 East to Route 229.  Turn south to Creston

Program: "Accentuate the Positive"  presented by Jayne Bower.She will talk about how training dogs using positive reinforcement changed the way she interacts with human animals.  Jayne is a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy of Animal Training and Behavior and is also TAGteach certified.

Pork ribs and chicken

 or vegetarian pasta (must specify in reservation)

Green salad

Garlic bread

Carrot cake

Coffee and Iced Tea

Wine and beer can be purchased at the luncheon.

Time: Social Hour 11:00 AM, Lunch 12:15 noon.

Cost: $18.00. If possible, have exact change or make out a check in advance to NCNC.
